The New Opportunity School for Women is a community of women supporting each other. After you work through our program, you have an ongoing community with us. A sisterhood.
We connect you with the support you need to continue what you started here. And we offer resources like scholarships and dental funds.
Sisterhood Scholarships:
Full-time: $500
Part-time: $350
Funds are unrestricted and can cover any education-related expense including tuition, books, transportation, childcare and more.
Certification Scholarships:
$150 per year
Residential graduates of NOSW Berea are eligible for a scholarship to support a certificate program. The certification scholarship is awarded annually.
Sisterhood Dental Fund:
Pending funding availability, NOSW assists graduates to offset the cost of dental procedures. In order to assist as many women as possible, there is a $1260 limit per person. Click below for guidelines on how to apply.
NOSW Foundation Scholarships
The New Opportunity School for Women Foundation, completely separate from NOSW, provides these scholarships.
Full-time: $400
Part-time: $200
Funds are unrestricted and can cover any education-related expense including tuition, books, transportation, childcare and more.

Leadership Retreat
Join your sisters for a four-day excursion into the wilderness with all the amenities of home. Graduates come together to grow professionally and advance leadership skills.
