NOSW was delighted to welcome nine women for our residential session June 3-17. Arneda, Cyndi, Drea, Kim, Lillie, Linda, Rebekah, Stephanie and Zoe spent two weeks in Berea exploring hard questions, looking inside themselves, stretching their comfort zones, learning new skills and having fun. Because they came to us during the Strawberry Moon, they named their group the Strawberry Moon Sisters. They graduated on June 17, with each woman making a speech about her journey. In a room filled with family, friends and community partners, they celebrated together and prepared to head back home, where the next phase of their journey begins.
